National Federation of WIs (NFWI)
Every Federation belongs to the National Federation of WIs.
NFWI are based in London and oversee all the Federations across the UK.
In 1915, NFWI set out to give women a voice and to be a force for good in their local community. Today, the WI is the largest women’s organisation in the UK and we pride ourselves on being a trusted place for all women of all generations to come together, to share experiences and learn from each other. Suffolk West Federation (SWFWI)
Every WI in West Suffolk belongs to Suffolk West Federation of WIs. SWFWI is run by women from all backgrounds and aims to keep opening up a world of opportunities for future generations.
We are here to support our WIs with guidance and training, and to provide members with events and workshops.

Your WI
Every WI is a safe space for women that opens up a world of opportunities through new experiences and friendships. Each of our WIs are unique and shaped by its members.
WIs meet monthly and are run by a committee who plan a varied calendar of speakers and demonstrators, as well as extra activities throughout the year – this could be lunch dates, wine tasting or a regular book club.
